Commencing in February 2027 for its second year, this initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to diversity, education, and industry development.

Program overview:

We are looking for one talented female-identifying student to undertake a rewarding internship opportunity in Pendal’s Income & Fixed Interest investment team. The internship commences in the last week of February 2027 and concludes in June 2027.

This hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to apply university learnings in a real-world, first-class asset management environment.

Scholarship offering:

• 4 month, one to two day per week paid internship opportunity in Pendal’s Income & Fixed Interest Investment team.
• A $3000 prize to support your academic journey, paid at completion of the internship.
• A dedicated mentor in the Pendal investment team.
• Opportunities to build professional networks across the industry.
• Insight into career pathways in asset management.

Eligibility criteria:

We’re seeking applicants with a keen, genuine interest in developing a career in asset management. Criteria includes:

• Applicants in their second year of university study or later, in the following disciplines:
  • Commerce;
  • Finance;
  • Law;
  • Science;
  • Technology;
  • Engineering;
  • Marketing;
  • Communications;
  • Psychology; and
  • Arts.
• The internship requires in-person attendance at our office in Sydney’s CBD.
• Applicants must have the right to work and study in Australia during the internship period.
• Applicants with strong communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build purposeful professional relationships.
