Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Weekend Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors. This role plays an important part in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily administrative operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Monitor facility entry and visitor sign-in procedures
- Provide general information and assistance to guests and residents
- Assist with clerical tasks including filing, copying, data entry, and document distribution
- Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and department leaders
- Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Support administrative and office functions as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
