Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Join us as a Wealth Planning Operations Analyst at Barclays, where you will play a key role in supporting the Wealth Planning business by ensuring the efficient progression of investment and offshore bond transactions. Working within a fast-paced operational environment, you will be responsible for maintaining agreed service levels, managing regulatory risk, and supporting business changes within the Asset Servicing control framework.

To be successful as a Wealth Planning Operations Analyst, you should have experience with:

• Experience within a Wealth Planning environment.
• Knowledge of investment operations and associated processes.
• Considerable organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Experience working within a regulated and controlled environment, with a ample focus on risk and compliance.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Knowledge of Wealth Planning products and related processes.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce and Workforce management tools.
• Experience supporting operational improvements and business change activities.
