Key Responsibilities
- Custodian Operations: Process and manage account-related requests through Schwab's custodian platform, including account openings, transfers, and maintenance tasks to keep client accounts accurate and up to date.
- Client Account Administration: Prepare and submit forms, letters of authorization, and other documentation required by custodians on behalf of advisors and clients.
- Advisor Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the advisory team, coordinating tasks and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks between client meetings, calls, and deadlines.
- CRM and Records Management: Maintain organized client records, track outstanding items, and update internal systems so the team always has accurate, current information at hand.
- Correspondence and Follow-Up: Handle routine client and custodian communications, follow up on pending requests, and flag time-sensitive items to the appropriate advisor.
- Compliance-Minded Documentation: Assist with maintaining files and documentation consistent with the requirements of a registered investment advisor, supporting the firm's operational and regulatory standards.
Required Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with Schwab Advisor Services as a custodian platform, this is a firm requirement.
- Experience with LPL Financial as a custodian is a strong plus and will be prioritized in the selection process.
- Solid understanding of account types common to wealth management (individual, joint, IRA, trust, and similar), and the administrative processes associated with each.
- Proficiency with custodian portals, document management, and the operational workflows of an RIA or broker-dealer environment.
- Strong written English communication skills for client-facing and custodian correspondence.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial paperwork and account requests.

Typical Day
Your day centers on the operational needs of the advisory team and their clients. You start by reviewing any pending custodian requests or outstanding document submissions on Schwab, following up on items that need attention. Throughout the day you prepare and process forms for new accounts, transfers, and account maintenance, and you coordinate with custodian service teams as needed. You support advisors directly, fielding administrative requests, updating client records, and handling correspondence so the advisors can stay focused on client relationships. The role is primarily asynchronous, with the expectation that you maintain reliable communication and consistent output aligned to the firm's operating hours in Las Vegas.
Salary / Hours / Location
- Working Hours: Aligned to the firm's business hours in Las Vegas (Pacific Time).
- Location: Remote, open to candidates in the Philippines, Pakistan, or Latin America. Full-time.
