Job Summary
Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is an important frontline leadership role within our Sydney Distribution Centre, responsible for leading the day-to-day performance of our Inbound team. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager you will help ensure inventory is received, processed, stored and made available to the business safely, accurately and within expected service and productivity targets.
This role would suit an experienced Team Leader or developing Warehouse Supervisor who is ready to broaden their leadership experience and take greater ownership of people, performance and operational outcomes.
You will be joining Medline at an exciting time, with a major Manhattan Warehouse Management System implementation commencing in January 2027. You will play an active role in supporting the project, helping prepare the operation and team for change, and embedding new processes and ways of working.
Your Focus will Include
- Leading the day-to-day activities and performance of the Inbound team
- Responsible for the inbound freight schedules, container movements and inventory flow
- Supporting labour planning and adjusting resources in response to changing operational priorities
- Monitoring service, productivity, quality and inventory performance and addressing issues as they arise
- Working closely with Planning, Inventory, Supply Chain, Quality and other operational teams
- Coaching team members and Warehouse Team Leads to build capability, accountability and engagement
- Promoting a physically and psychologically safe workplace
- Identifying and implementing practical improvements to warehouse processes and workflows
- Supporting warehouse projects and operational change initiatives
- Playing an active role in the implementation and ongoing optimisation of the Manhattan WMS

You do not need extensive management experience, but you will need to demonstrate that you can lead a team, coordinate daily warehouse priorities and take ownership when operational issues arise.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience leading people in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment, potentially as a Team Leader, Leading Hand or Warehouse Supervisor
- Demonstrated project experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience using Manhattan WMS is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway and inventory movements
- A people-focused leadership style, with the ability to coach and lead the team while driving a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
