The Role
The Marketplace (Warehouse) Supervisor supports the onsite Culinary or Marketplace Manager with day-to-day operations. This person must be comfortable taking ownership, working with minimal oversight, and leading the team in executing operational SOPs effectively and efficiently.
The primary focus of this position is supervising the evening order-picking operation. The supervisor will manage a team of 5–7 order pickers and ensure that chef orders for the following day are fulfilled accurately and on time. This role will also monitor incoming and outgoing chef order requests, identify shortages, and proactively communicate any issues to Culinary teams and management.
Additional responsibilities include receiving, inventory management, storage and distribution of Marketplace products, purchasing ingredients, and scheduling staff.
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 5:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.
Days off: Monday and Tuesday
Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of 5–7 order pickers throughout the evening shift.

Ensure chef orders for the following day are picked, processed, and fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

Monitor incoming and outgoing chef order requests.

Proactively communicate shortages and operational issues to Culinary teams and management.

Oversee evening operations independently and with minimal supervision.

Use WMS and ERP systems for order processing, inventory management, and billing.

Use Slack for team communication, operational updates, and escalations.

Operate a pallet jack to move pallets of products.

Manage and improve key operational processes, including:

Receiving

Order picking

Inventory counting

Ordering

Returns
-
Staff scheduling

Ensure the proper organization of dry storage areas, walk-ins, and freezers within the Marketplace.

Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment.

Enforce food-safety standards and FIFO practices to ensure product freshness.

Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
-
3–5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, order-fulfillment, food-production, or kitchen environment.

Experience managing an order-picking or fulfillment team.
-
Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Ability to manage evening operations independently and with minimal oversight.

Experience using WMS and ERP systems for order processing, inventory, or billing.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and lift for a minimum of eight hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years old.

High proficiency in Spanish.

Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Experience operating a pallet jack and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $25 per hour.
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
