The Vice President, Trade Finance Product & GPS SME Lead will provide end-to-end business and product leadership for CGI Trade360 (T360), KOMGO, annual T360 maintenance releases, periodic platform upgrades, and global implementations. The position will serve as the senior GPS Trade Finance SME, lead onsite stakeholder engagement, and direct MGS offshore resources supporting requirements, testing, data, documentation, controls, and release delivery.

Core Responsibilities

·   Serve as the primary GPS business and product SME for CGI T360, KOMGO, Trade Finance operations, workflows, controls, data, and downstream integrations.

·   Own annual T360 maintenance releases, periodic upgrades, product enhancements, regulatory changes, and global implementations across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

·   Lead end-to-end scope, requirements, process flows, business rules, BRD/DRD, data mapping, UAT strategy, defect governance, operational readiness, cutover, and post-production stabilization.

·   Partner with Trade Finance Operations, Front Office, Technology, CGI, KOMGO, QA/SIT/UAT, regional teams, and senior stakeholders to deliver approved business outcomes.

·   Lead and develop MGS offshore resources; assign WBS deliverables, establish SME ownership, review output quality, manage dependencies, and ensure sustainable BAU support.

·   Maintain product roadmap, release calendar, RAID, decisions, stakeholder approvals, evidence, version control, and executive-level delivery status.

·   Drive process optimization, automation, AIQ/AI opportunities, operational controls, and measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and supportability.

Trade Finance Product Expertise

·   CGI Trade360 product capabilities, configuration, release lifecycle, interfaces, and global deployment model.

·   KOMGO workflows and digital Trade Finance integration.

·   Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Open Account, Supply Chain Finance, Trade Loans, Trade Payments, and related SWIFT Category 4 and 7 messages.

·   Trade Address, trade-party data, COMPCHEK, operational exceptions, maker-checker controls, reconciliations, and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Product & Downstream Accountabilities

·   Coordinate Trade Finance impacts and interfaces across Deposits, Markets, Payments, and other downstream business products.

·   Partner with Compliance teams supporting data quality, data lineage, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, AML controls, reporting, and evidence requirements.

·   Ensure source-to-target mapping, transformation logic, data ownership, control totals, exception handling, and downstream consumption are clearly documented and validated.

·   Assess cross-project impacts from SWIFT, ISO 20022, vendor releases, regulatory changes, and enterprise data initiatives.

GPS SME Leadership & Delivery Model

·   Act as the onsite GPS Trade Finance lead and escalation point for business, operations, technology, vendor, and regional stakeholders.

·   Build and maintain a structured Trade Finance SME model covering product knowledge, procedures, artifacts, testing, controls, and BAU support.

·   Direct MGS offshore analysts supporting WBS/Jira, BRD/DRD, data mapping, UAT, defects, documentation, dashboards, and release evidence.

·   Ensure every deliverable has a clear owner, due date, acceptance criteria, evidence, and stakeholder approval.

·   Lead knowledge transfer, shadow/reverse-shadow activities, runbook development, and offshore ownership acceptance.

Required Qualifications

·   Extensive Trade Finance product, operations, and transformation experience in a large financial institution.

·   Demonstrated hands-on expertise with CGI Trade360 and strong knowledge of KOMGO.

·   Experience leading annual maintenance releases, platform upgrades, global implementations, UAT, cutover, and production stabilization.

·   Strong business analysis capability across BRD, DRD, process modeling, data mapping, traceability, UAT planning, defects, and controls.

·   Experience leading distributed onsite/offshore teams and managing vendor and executive stakeholder relationships.

·   Ability to translate complex product, regulatory, operational, and technology requirements into concise, controlled, and auditable deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

·   Experience with global Trade Finance rollouts across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

·   Knowledge of SWIFT Trade Finance messaging, ISO 20022 impacts, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and compliance data controls.

·   Experience with AI/automation, workflow optimization, Jira/WBS dashboards, and structured knowledge management.

·   Predictable, high-quality delivery of annual T360 releases, upgrades, and global implementations.

·   Clear ownership and complete BRD/DRD/data/UAT/control traceability across Trade Finance and downstream teams.

·   Sustainable MGS offshore SME capability with strong documentation, runbooks, and BAU support.

·   Reduced delivery risk, improved operational readiness, and timely resolution of defects, dependencies, and stakeholder decisions.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $176K - $215K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
