Why This Role Matters

As the senior physician executive for the Indiana region, you’ll serve as the clinical architect of a new market—bringing together physicians, operational leaders, hospitals, and community partners around a shared vision of exceptional patient care.

You’ll influence strategy at the highest level while maintaining what matters most: improving the lives of patients and supporting physicians in delivering outstanding care.

What You’ll Lead

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Launch and lead Millennium’s newest regional physician organization.
• Develop and execute the clinical strategy that drives growth, quality, and value-based success.
• Build an engaged, high-performing physician leadership team.
• Champion clinical excellence, patient safety, and evidence-based care across multiple practice locations.
• Advance population health initiatives and innovative care delivery models.
• Partner closely with the Chief Medical Officer, CEO, Market Presidents, and executive leadership to shape regional strategy.
• Foster strong relationships with hospitals, specialists, employers, and community stakeholders throughout Indiana.
• Lead physician engagement, succession planning, recruitment, and leadership development.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, operational performance, and patient outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Current unrestricted physician license
• Board Certification
• 15+ years of progressive physician leadership experience
• Executive leadership experience within a physician organization, health system, or integrated delivery network
• Proven success leading multisite clinical operations, quality improvement, physician engagement, and value-based care
• Experience driving clinical transformation, population health initiatives, and organizational growth
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills

Executive Compensation & Benefits

We recognize the caliber of leadership this role requires and offer a highly competitive executive compensation package designed to reward both performance and long-term impact.

Compensation includes:

• Base salary: $350,000–$470,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range represents the Company’s good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
• Annual performance incentive: Eligible for a bonus of up to 40% of base salary
• Equity opportunity: Participate in the company’s continued growth through an executive equity program

Required Technology Experience

Epic EMR experience is required.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience utilizing Epic in clinical practice and/or physician leadership roles. As Epic will remain the organization’s primary electronic health record platform for the foreseeable future, candidates without Epic experience will not be considered.

Travel & Market Presence

This is a field-based leadership position requiring substantial travel throughout the assigned Indiana territory.

Candidates must maintain a consistent and visible presence within the market and be comfortable spending significant time visiting physician practices, hospitals, health system partners, and community stakeholders.

Preferred home base locations include:

• South Bend, Indiana
• Indianapolis, Indiana

Candidates residing in Chicago, Illinois or Gary, Indiana may be considered with a demonstrated commitment to extensive in-market travel and engagement.
