Job Description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• Ensure that the Branch compliance function in respect to AML/CFT framework align with the Group AML/CFT Policy and guidelines and meet changing regulatory requirements.

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advice on AML/CFT/Sanctions related matters covering both Australian and Group requirements

• Update and implement Branch’s AML/CFT/Sanctions policies and procedures

• Assist in the execution of various AML/CFT/Sanctions based risk-based assessments.

• Review and respond on BU/SU escalations of AML/CTF related matters

• Provide AML/CFT/Sanctions training to promote staff awareness on AML/CFT/Sanctions regulations and risks within Branch.

• Maintain proscribed lists and related software

• Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly AML/CFT/Sanctions Group Compliance management reports.

• Effect continual improvements in the department and have a constructive working relationship with other compliance staff

• Provide cover for and support for staff in the compliance department.

• Attend to ad hoc requests from Branch Compliance Head or senior management of a compliance nature
