We are looking for an experienced Ventilation Engineer for one of our key operations, on an 8/6 roster!

Reporting to the Alternate Underground manager, the Ventilation Engineer will provide technical leadership and expertise across one of our key underground operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review short and long-term underground ventilation plans.
• Manage and optimise ventilation systems.
• Ventilation modelling and simulation using VentSim.
• Deliver ventilation-related projects, audits and system improvements.
• Monitor ventilation performance and provide regular reporting.
• Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and company standards.
• Identify energy efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational and technical stakeholders to support mine planning and performance.

About you:

• Extensive underground mine ventilation experience
• VentSim modelling and ventilation planning capability.
• Strong knowledge of WA Mining Regulations and ventilation compliance requirements.
• Satisfy requirements for appointment as onsite ventilation officer
• Experience managing major ventilation projects and contractors.
• Proven ability to identify and implement ventilation optimisation initiatives.
• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline.

• Current C Class Driver's Licence
