About the role

We are looking for a Validation Lead to join our Technical team.

In this role, you will lead the site validation lifecycle and manage a team of Product and Process Engineers supporting the lifecycle management of products manufactured on site.

You will provide oversight across equipment and facility commissioning and qualification, process and packaging validation, cleaning validation, Continued Process Verification, analytical method validation and computer system validation.

Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Technical teams, you will ensure validation activities are delivered on time, meet Haleon standards and maintain the site in a state of regulatory readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Product and Process Engineers supporting Product Lifecycle Management.
• Oversee the planning, management and delivery of validation lifecycle activities across the site.
• Ensure compliance with current requirements and expectations relating to: Equipment and facility commissioning and qualification Process and packaging validation Cleaning validation Continued Process Verification Analytical method validation Computer system validation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Technical teams to ensure validation activities are completed on time and in line with Haleon standards.
• Maintain the Site Validation Master Plan and ensure validation systems remain current and effective.
• Support ongoing regulatory inspection readiness and demonstrate validation system compliance to regulatory authorities.
• Act as the site subject matter expert for cleaning validation.
• Assess the impact of new products, processes and changes against the existing site cleaning matrix.
• Coach and develop the Technical team in the effective execution of cleaning validation activities.
• Ensure appropriate monitoring is in place so validated processes continue to operate in a controlled and reproducible manner.

About you

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry or another relevant scientific or pharmaceutical discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Technical role within an FDA-regulated environment.
• Strong practical experience in cleaning validation.
• Broad understanding of validation lifecycle requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience working collaboratively across Technical, Engineering and Quality functions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop technical team members.

Desirable

• Experience maintaining or contributing to a Site Validation Master Plan.
• Knowledge across several validation areas, including process, packaging, equipment, facilities, analytical methods or computer systems.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections involving authorities such as the FDA, Health Canada or ANVISA.
• Experience managing technical specialists or engineers.

   

    

EUR 68,018.00 - EUR 93,524.20 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role.
