As US Downstream Marketing, Advanced Imaging, you are responsible for defining detailed requirements for product, solution, and service development, driven by customer insights and market trends, to optimize value and align with strategic marketing goals, working under limited supervision and broad guidelines. You will develop detailed product, software, and lifecycle specifications that align with strategic portfolio marketing strategies, ensuring they effectively meet customer needs and contribute to long-term business objectives. In this role you will guide channel strategies and develops robust go-to-market plans to drive product adoption and revenue growth, as well as ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards, assists in developing testing protocols, and manages the product development lifecycle.

Your role:

• Develop and maintain value propositions, business cases, and detailed product, software, and lifecycle specifications aligned with portfolio strategy, customer needs, and long-term business objectives. Own the clinical, economic, and technical claims ambition, roadmap, and plans needed to support target price points in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Execute product and claims strategies with limited supervision, collaborating with regional Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to prioritize validated claims, guide product positioning, optimize margins, and align with business goals, market trends, regulatory requirements, and financial targets. Use advanced analytics, market insights, competitor activity, customer feedback, and performance metrics to evaluate product success, anticipate opportunities and challenges, refine strategies, and inform continuous improvement, innovation, and the product roadmap.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and product integrity throughout the lifecycle by partnering with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams, mitigating risk, and supporting the design, implementation, and refinement of reliable testing protocols. Manage any product launches, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality requirements, and alignment with project objectives while maintaining a strong understanding of industry dynamics, technological advancements, market shifts, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.

You are the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired 3+ years’ experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, Business or equivalent OR minimal prior experience required with Master's Degree.
• Your skills include stakeholder management, business acumen, market intelligence, user experience (UX) research, clinical research, new product introduction (NPI), clinical and medical affairs know-how, product lifecycle management (PLM), technology acumen, feedback management, and data analysis & interpretation.
• You have a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management or equivalent.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

• You’re an excellent communicator who works well under limited supervision, while maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to align their insights and advocacy with product strategy, driving engagement through advisory boards and educational initiatives to enhance product credibility, market influence, and thought leadership while measuring impact on market adoption and positioning. You also have the ability to collaborate extensively with regional cross-functional teams to guide channel strategies and develop robust go-to-market plans that drive product adoption and revenue growth.

How we work together  

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details   

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $103,000 to $163,000.

The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $110,000 to $174,000.   

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN or Bedford, MA.
