About this role:

Intermountain Health is expanding our Urology service line in Denver, and we are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist with a strong interest or experience in urologic oncology, complex surgical care, and program growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to help build a high-quality urology practice within a supportive, collaborative environment.

In this role, you will practice a broad spectrum of urology with an emphasis on urologic oncology, including diagnosis, treatment planning, complex surgical management, minimally invasive procedures, and pre- and postoperative care. The position also includes general urology needs such as prostate conditions, kidney stones, UTIs, Men’s Health, TURPs, and BPH treatment, with access to advanced technology including the DaVinci robotic system and Aquablation.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and interested in quality, safety, mentorship, and service line development.

How we'll support you: 

Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of an initial base salary of $560,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive. We are also offering a $25,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus of up to $20,000 is available to applicable candidates.

What you’ll bring: 

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Minimum of 2 years post-training experience

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Urology
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Ideal candidates will bring expertise in TURPs and robotic procedures using the DaVinci robotic system

Saint Joseph Hospital is a 360 bed level IV trauma center right in downtown Denver. While the hospital was founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1873, a new state-of-the-art hospital was opened in 2014.
