Overview
We’re hiring a Treasury Operations Manager to join our team! You’ll be at the center of how money moves through our business. From owning merchant settlements, managing liquidity across our banking and custody network, and making sure payouts happen accurately and on time across every currency and entity we operate in.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and real-time decision-making. You’ll position cash ahead of market opens, make critical funding decisions, execute wires and on-chain transfers under dual control, and jump in to investigate when a settlement doesn’t land where it should.
And you won’t just run the operation, you’ll help build what comes next. You’ll take workflows that rely on spreadsheets and tribal knowledge and turn them into scalable, repeatable processes that can keep pace with a growing payments business.

What You'll Do
- Own merchant settlement setup and daily execution, including payout schedules, currencies, funding instructions, reserves, holdbacks, and bank details
- Monitor settlement activity end-to-end, resolving failed or delayed payouts, reconciliation breaks, statement discrepancies, and merchant inquiries in partnership with payment providers
- Execute and reconcile stablecoin settlements, including on/off-ramp conversions, wallet operations, custody movements, and on-chain activity
- Own daily cash positioning and liquidity across multiple entities, countries, and currencies, managing prefunding thresholds and moving funds proactively to keep settlements on track
- Maintain short-term cash forecasts and reporting that provides clear, real-time visibility into balances, settlement obligations, operating needs, and upcoming funding requirements
- Execute FX trades, intercompany funding, wires, ACH, SEPA, and SWIFT payments with appropriate controls, documentation, and audit trails
- Manage day-to-day relationships with banking partners, sponsor banks, custodians, exchanges, and other financial partners while building scalable treasury processes and supporting new markets, accounts, and licenses
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial, treasury, or payment operations within fintech, payments, banking, or regulated financial services
- Deep understanding of settlement operations, prefunding, payment cutoffs, liquidity management, and the day-to-day realities of moving money
- Hands-on experience executing payments across multiple rails, including wire, ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, or local equivalents, within a controlled environment
- Experience managing multi-currency and multi-entity operations, including FX execution, intercompany funding, cash positioning, and short-term forecasting
- Strong reconciliation instincts and advanced Excel skills, with confidence working through large, transaction-level datasets from processors or banking systems
- Builder mentality with a bias toward action—you’re comfortable getting into the details, solving problems, and creating structure where a playbook doesn’t yet exist
- Excited to use AI, automation, and technology to improve workflows, reduce manual work, and build smarter, more scalable operations
Nice to Have
- Experience building financial operations at an early-stage or high-growth startup
- Hands-on experience with stablecoin or crypto settlements, custody platforms, exchanges, or OTC counterparties
- Familiarity with FBO account structures, safeguarding requirements, or money transmitter permissible investment rules
- Experience with Modern Treasury, NetSuite, or similar treasury and payment operations platforms
- BigQuery or similar experience pulling, analyzing, and working directly with your own data
- Experience establishing banking, payment, or custody relationships as part of launching into new markets
Our Compensation Philosophy!
The annual base salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000 in New York. This range represents the minimum and maximum annual base salary that Breeze, in good faith, expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
For candidates outside of New York, compensation will be based on the applicable market and location-based pay range.
The base salary range listed excludes commission (if applicable), equity, and benefits.

In-Office Expectations
Employees based in our New York City, NY office follow a hybrid work model and are expected to work from the office three days per week. Employees based in our Singapore office are expected to work on-site five days per week.
In-office expectations may vary slightly depending on role, team, and business needs. Certain roles that require closer cross-functional collaboration or operational support may have additional requirements, which will be discussed during the interview process.
