1. Job Title: Transforming Care Lead Oncology

2. Introduction to role:

Are you ready to rewire cancer care in Spain—turning strategy into scaled change that improves outcomes for patients and families? From Madrid, you will set the national vision for transforming oncology pathways and translate it into repeatable models that accelerate earlier detection, deliver precision treatment, and expand equitable access.

Reporting to the Oncology Medical Affairs Head and serving on the country leadership team, you will align our ambition with Spain’s health priorities, partnering across clinical, data, policy, and operational stakeholders to unlock measurable system improvements. Could you turn fragmented pathways into reliable systems that consistently deliver guideline-concordant care?

3. Accountabilities:

• Vision and Portfolio: Define a multiyear Transforming Care agenda and national priorities aligned to company objectives and Spain’s healthcare goals, including patient identification, guideline-concordant care, precision diagnostics, and pathway optimization; optimize resourcing to maximize impact.
• Standards and Governance: Establish end-to-end pathway mapping standards and bottleneck identification methods; co-design innovative approaches with internal and external leaders and set governance for consistent adoption.
• Scaling Proven Initiatives: Codify playbooks, secure multiyear funding, and set governance to replicate successful models across sites and regions; own sequencing, success indicators, and removal of systemic barriers.
• Change Leadership: Identify portfolio- and policy-level risks and opportunities; set change management strategies, sponsor stakeholder engagement plans, resolve escalations, and secure executive and authority sponsorship.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Drive country-level alignment across Medical, Commercial (non-promotional), Patient Affairs, Market Access, Digital/IT, Innovation, Diagnostics, and Public Affairs; coordinate closely with the global Transforming Care AI team.
• Strategic Partnerships: Coordinate engagement of clinical societies, patient advocacy groups, provider networks, screening programs, labs, and consortia through existing teams to advance shared Transforming Care priorities.
• Metrics and Data: Define KPI taxonomy and success metrics; ensure dashboards and data pipelines are in place; lead rapid-cycle learning, disseminate best practices, and enable cross-market knowledge transfer.
• Above-Brand Strategy Co-Leadership: Co-develop and maintain the Above-Brand Strategy and long-term healthcare system vision for Spain with oncology leadership; deliver initiatives that strengthen our positioning; ensure Transforming Care supports strategic priorities and pathway transformation; build advocacy platforms with scientific engagement and strategic partners; monitor healthcare policy, innovation, and system transformation trends to inform planning; establish KPIs to track impact across system outcomes and leadership priorities.

4. Essential Skills/Experience:

• 10–15 years in transformation with systemlevel delivery and largescale implementation
• Proven crossfunctional, multistakeholder leadership at national/regional levels
• Strong change management, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, policy engagement, and governance design
• Ability to set multiyear strategy and operating models; make resourcing tradeoffs and establish governance and pathway standards
• Negotiate and manage frameworks with authorities, societies, provider networks, and labs; represent confidently in national forums
• Datadriven approach
• Languages: Spanish, English Fluent

5. Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Healthcare and/or Oncology experience across e.g. clinical practice, scientific knowledge, precision diagnostics, and pathway optimization
• Market Access experience/knowledge and exposure to public/government affairs
• Experience with digital health, data interoperability, and AI enabled operating models in care pathway transformation
