More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Training Coordinator/Lead in our Aurora, CO facility with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.  

• Provide specified technical training regularly for new hires and transfers
• Responsible for placement of the assembly team on the lines under the direction of the Supervisor
• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or work-cell process; Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required
• Inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations; Use Kanban system to assure availability of parts
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S
• Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management’s attention and educate others on proper procedures to ensure a safe environment; Actively participate in accident, injury and illness prevention activities

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience; electronics or electrical assembly environment preferred
• 1+ year experience successfully leading a team of people
• Experienced with safety and quality awareness and are familiar with best practices; Affinity for continuous improvement and other Lean skills
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written
• SAP experience

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Hourly Rate - $29.50
