How you will create an impact

• Support Trade Credit (TC) underwriting activities, contributing to portfolio growth and profitability.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of brokers and clients, driving policy retention, renewals, and new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and customers, identifying commercial opportunities and delivering underwriting solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Contribute to the execution of strategic plans and local growth initiatives in partnership with Distribution and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the underwriting process, working closely with Credit Officers and internal teams.
• Promote Trade Credit solutions in the market and help expand AIG’s presence in target segments.
• Monitor market trends, portfolio performance, and business opportunities to support the achievement of growth and profitability targets.
• Continue developing underwriting, financial analysis, and commercial skills with guidance from senior team members.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Academic background in Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Proven commercial mindset, with experience developing broker relationships, retaining existing business, and generating new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with brokers, clients, and C-level stakeholders.
• Understanding of Trade Credit products and underwriting processes (preferred) and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Analytical, proactive, and results-oriented profile, with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Advanced English language proficiency is required (both verbal and writing skills); Spanish is a plus.
