As a trusted leader in early childhood education across Massachusetts, our award-winning childcare and preschool centers provide exceptional care and learning experiences where children thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
We're seeking compassionate, experienced, and EEC Certified Toddler Teachers to join our team. If you're passionate about early childhood education and love helping toddlers navigate their growing independence, big emotions, developing language, and exciting new discoveries, we'd love to meet you.
As a Toddler Teacher, you'll build meaningful connections with children and families while creating a warm, responsive classroom where toddlers feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. From first friendships and new words to developing self-help skills and discovering their unique personalities, you'll play an important role in helping each child build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
What You'll Do
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging toddler classroom where children feel secure, supported, and excited to learn.
Build strong, trusting relationships with toddlers and their families through consistent, responsive, and compassionate care.
Support children's growing independence, language development, social-emotional skills, and self-help skills through age-appropriate activities and daily routines.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, movement, creativity, and problem-solving.
Respond thoughtfully to toddlers' individual needs, personalities, interests, and developmental stages.
Help toddlers navigate big emotions, transitions, peer interactions, and emerging independence with patience and positive guidance.
Encourage early communication and language development through conversations, storytelling, songs, books, and meaningful interactions throughout the day.
Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning.
Provide attentive supervision and follow all health, safety, sanitation, and EEC regulations and requirements.
Communicate regularly and professionally with families about their child's experiences, development, milestones, and daily activities.
Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, Center Directors, and support staff to create a consistent and positive experience for children and families.
Observe and document children's development and use those observations to support individualized learning and care.
