Ideally, the candidate should be based in Innsbruck, Graz, or Vienna.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serves as the main point of contact within own business unit for assigned customer base, utilizing a full understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to EW medical products as they relate to the business.
• Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons, and other influencers in the assigned region to strengthen Edwards’ positioning in the market, utilizing creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers to support buying decisions with tact and diplomacy.
• Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas for improvement to meet sales targets, while developing and executing an annual plan to achieve regional objectives.
• Performs other incidental duties.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of progressive clinical/sales experience required.
• Medical device industry experience required.

• Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products.
• Develops a deeper understanding of own business, the medical device industry, and the selling environment within the assigned region.
• Full knowledge of customer organizations and how the market environment impacts customers.
• Full understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to EW medical products as they relate to the business.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Understands customer needs, feedback, and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of value.
