Key Responsibilities
Grow market share of CV portfolio brands on territory to contribute to national success by;
- Analysing all available data, to identify trends & patterns and to see opportunities & threats
- Using a strategic mindset to know where and how to achieve business targets and to articulate this in comprehensive business plans
- By prioritising time with those will contribute to business success, now and in the future
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders both in the public & private Cardiology sector to leverage best patient outcomes with the CV brands
- Gain an understanding, at an individual level, the needs of each stakeholder
Personally contribute to the culture of the BMS CV team by;
- Passionate about finding solutions to complex problems for improving patient care and outcomes
- Tenancy to persist in getting the right patient on treatment
- Sharing knowledge, experience, and insights with internal BMS stakeholders
- Fostering a collaborative environment by proactively communicating, supporting and collaborating with team members
Uphold the BMS Value of Integrity by;
- Completing sales administration paperwork, reports, and work within a set promotional budget, with accuracy and on time
- Ensure business objectives and practices are fully compliant with relevant laws, regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Experience working in complex specialty environments across both public & private settings
- Deep insight into the local hospital environment: customers, networks, access and relevant departments and ability to uncover insight into disease state of interest
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Shows resilience & tenacity when faced with challenges
- Able to take accountability and show good decision making & decisiveness when required
- Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team
Preferred
- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Science, Nursing, Pharmacy or a related discipline Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate technical and disease state information to all customers
- Established relationships with Cardiologists in both public and private
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales in a hospital environment
- Understanding of heart failure/cardiomyopathy, disease management and treatment
