Responsibilities:
- Learn product requirements, architecture, and expected behavior with support from senior engineers.
- Prepare and execute test cases for functional, regression, system, integration, and basic performance testing.
- Use automation to perform repetitive tests, collect logs, process results, and improve test efficiency.
- Set up and use embedded boards, interfaces, test instruments, simulators, and debugging tools.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear evidence and observations.
- Work with developers and test engineers during defect investigation, fixes, and verification.
- Participate in requirement, design, test-plan, and test-case reviews.
- Follow team processes for testing, coding, documentation, configuration management, and quality.
- Share accurate test status and continuously build technical and product knowledge.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) or Master's Degree (ME/M.Tech) in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics or Instrumentation technology
- Graduates passed on or after 2024 or candidate with up to one year of relevant work experience.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python; familiarity with C is desirable.
- Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers or microprocessors, and analog and digital electronics.
- Basic awareness of software testing concepts, the defect life cycle, and test documentation is desirable
- Exposure through coursework, projects, internships, or self-learning to Linux, serial communication, debugging tools, laboratory instruments, UART, I2C, SPI, or USB is an advantage.
- Logical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new tools and technologies is essential
