Little Words Project is looking for Temporary Fulfillment Associates to join our new warehouse in Mountainside, NJ. In this role, you will help pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working on their feet, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Please note, this is a Temporary Position from November 2, 2026 - January 4, 2027

There are two shifts available:

• Morning Shift: 8am - 4pm  
• Evening Shift: 2pm - 10pm
• Paid Training (All Shifts): November 9 - 20 @ 8:30am - 4:30pm
• Compensation: Starting at $17.00/hour

*Warehouse is accessible by public transportation*

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance, which is especially important due to the short-term nature of this assignment.
• Locate, pick, and verify items based on each order.
• Pack orders securely and apply shipping labels following shipping requirements.
• Help receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently to meet shipping deadlines.
• Check completed orders to make sure they are accurate and complete before shipment.
• Promptly report missing, incorrect, or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Organize inventory and help with inventory counts, restocking, and keeping products organized.
• Monitor inventory and report any errors or differences to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety rules and proper procedures when handling products and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, e-commerce, or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable following instructions and accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders.
• Comfortable lifting and moving packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse systems is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Works well independently and completes assigned tasks.
• Flexible to work the assigned shift and meet business needs.
