The Role
As an Account Manager, you are the driver for a dedicated automotive vertical. Reporting to the Sr GAD, you are the strategic glue between our clients and our internal teams of "makers." You aren’t here to just manage projects; you are here to improve how we work. We need a leader who can walk into a fast-paced environment, refine gaps as they arise, and build the solutions that make our engine run smoother- directly impacting our quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
The Day-to-Day
- Client Leadership: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, managing expectations, capturing feedback, and ensuring seamless communication.
- Account Health & Finance: Oversee account profitability, scope management, SOW creation, and financial tracking in partnership with delivery teams.
- Briefing & Strategic Alignment: Translate client business objectives into clear creative briefs and ensure final deliverables align with overall brand strategy.

Strategic Diplomacy: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, navigating complex relationships and distilling high-level business goals into actionable plans.Organic Account Growth: Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand agency impact and revenue.Creative Partnership: Champion the creative vision, presenting work alongside Creative during key client reviews.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal strategy, creative, and production teams- as well as external agency partners- to drive alignment.AI & Innovation: Explore AI tools and modern workflows to elevate strategic output and client communication.Culture & Well-being: Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes team well-being while driving standards of excellence.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in facilitating digital creative and/or production in an agency setting
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multiple projects at once with a high attention to detail
- A solutions-oriented approach with inherent curiosity
- Ability to operate in a nimble and constantly evolving team environment
- An eagerness to learn and is comfortable asking questions to enhance their knowledge of the automotive industry
- Foundational understanding of client financials and budget management
- Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including both professional and casual style of communication
- Experience with and comfortable working within project management tools (WorkFront, JIRA, Monday.com, Asana, etc.)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred

Monks has provided an hourly rate that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting.
