WATER QUALITY PLATFORM  

Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat.  WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.  

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Customer Outreach

• Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers using assigned customer lists and marketing campaigns.
• Introduce Hach products, services, solutions, promotions, and value propositions to customers.
• Identify customer needs, business challenges, and areas where Hach solutions may provide value.
• Generate and qualify sales leads according to established criteria.

Sales Opportunity Development

• Schedule meetings, product demonstrations, or follow-up discussions for the Field Sales team.
• Coordinate with Account Managers, Application Specialists, and Sales Representatives to ensure smooth lead handover.
• Support commercial initiatives to increase customer engagement and market penetration.

Customer Information & CRM Management

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, contact information, and follow-up activities within Salesforce.com or other company CRM platforms.
• Update lead status and sales activity results promptly and accurately.
• Ensure customer data integrity and compliance with company policies.

Customer Support & Follow-Up

• Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding products, services, quotations, or promotional campaigns.
• Conduct follow-up calls to nurture prospective customers and encourage progression through the sales cycle.
• Build positive customer relationships that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Meet or exceed established KPIs related to call activity, lead generation, appointment setting, and opportunity conversion.
• Support marketing campaigns, customer surveys, and business development initiatives as assigned.
• Participate in product and sales training programs to maintain knowledge of Hach offerings and industry trends.
