Commission Detail
Exempt: Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
Non-Exempt: Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
Job Description
CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Adventure World restaurants, is seeking a Technical Support Bench Tech. This exciting opportunity will be based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, Texas, and report to the CEO.
Essential Functions
Performs all duties and responsibilities in support of field services and operations. Supports the Corporate Objectives, including: "If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is."
Support our customers (Operations and Field Technical Managers).
Conduct Quality Repairs on items in the Electronics Repairs inventory list.
Assemble various sound and other kit assemblies to support the field.
Manage the shipping and receiving of all exchange parts.
Perform other duties and lend assistance to co-workers as directed by the immediate supervisor or other members of our Corporate Management Team.
Work hours vary while in and out of school. Generally, during the school year, this role will work 12 – 18 hours per week. Holiday weeks and summer hours are generally 30 hours per week.
Qualifications & Requirements
High School/Equivalent
1+ year of experience as a Qualified Bench Technician is preferred
Proficient at Soldering
Outstanding mechanical aptitude
Verbal Communication Skills
Typing/data entry (40 WPM)
Computer Software: Word/Excel
Written Communication Skills
Analytical Skills
Customer relations/service
Professional demeanor, attitude & appearance
Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 50 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with occasional overtime.
