Location Details: Serbia - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

As a Technical Services Account Manager, you’ll provide technical support to server customers across phone, chat and ticket channels. You’ll diagnose common server issues, guide customers toward resolutions and help deliver a positive customer experience.

What you'll get to do...

• Troubleshoot server uptime, connectivity, disk space and performance issues
• Review server, access and error logs to identify common problems
• Support customers with cPanel and Plesk
• Assist with DNS setup, SSL installation, PHP versions/modules and databases
• Help customers recover server access and reset credentials
• Support local backup setup and disaster recovery
• Assist with email and FTP client configuration
• Troubleshoot common CMS and website issues
• Carry out root cause analysis for common server errors
• Provide basic account management support
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge to provide effective, up-to-date customer support

Your experience should include...

• Hosting knowledge: Strong understanding of hosting environments, including shared hosting, Windows and Linux VPS, DNS, SSL, backups and PHP
• Web technologies: Good knowledge of WordPress and other CMS platforms, plus CDN and WAF technologies
• Customer & communication skills: Excellent customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple channels
• Problem solving: Able to multitask, prioritise and independently troubleshoot complex website and hosting issues

You might also have...

• GoDaddy experience: Knowledge of GoDaddy hosting platforms and Content Migration Services is preferred
