Job Description

At CUBIC, we are looking for an engaged Team Leader for our night shift.

As a Leader you will provide direction, develop people, and build a culture where employees grow, take responsibility, and deliver results.

Our Coordinator handles the daily coordination of operations.

As Team Leader, your primary responsibility is to lead people, create engagement, and help your team to succeed.

Your responsibilities- You will do:

• Ensure safety is a fixed agenda item at daily team board meetings
• Follow up on safety observations and near misses
• Work proactively with prevention and continuous safety improvements
• Be a role model for a safety culture
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards
• Provide daily people leadership for the night-shift employees
• Follow up on team performance and development
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Motivate and coach employees
• Conduct 1:1 meetings, provide feedback, and hold development conversations
• Promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and a positive working environment
• Handle employee-related matters
• Ensure onboarding of new employees
• Develop employees' capabilities
• Develop talent
• Work with the Coordinator to create the best possible conditions for the team's success
• Communicate the day's goals and priorities
• Follow up on KPIs and team performance
• Encourage learning and knowledge sharing
• Follow up on team performance and development
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

You will have:

• Experience with people management
• Experience from warehousing, logistics, production, or a similar operational environment
• Experience with daily board meetings, LEAN, or other forms of visual management
• Experience with KPI follow-up and continuous improvement
• IT skills and are comfortable working with ERP and WMS systems
