The opportunity
We are looking for a proactive, resourceful, and collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner to join our People Team. In this role, you will strategically drive full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across clinical, technical, corporate, and commercial functions by partnering with our hiring leaders. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of GeneDx with the top talent you hire and contributing to our transformation through process improvements and automation, program development, system and tools implementations. What you'll bring
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles—from intake to offer acceptance.
- Partner and advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices, the talent landscape and how to most effectively hire on their teams, by deeply understanding job requirements, team dynamics, and business goals.
- Deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience that reflects GeneDx’s mission and values.
- Proactively Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, CRM (Greenhouse), referrals, and networking
- Screen candidates for qualifications, culture fit, and role alignment, also with the ability to look across at other relevant or future openings.
- Provide data-driven updates to hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the search process, with recommendations where there are challenges or adjustments need to be made.
- Collaborate with the broader TA team on hiring strategy, process improvement, and employer branding initiatives.
- Ensure all recruitment activity is tracked accurately in Greenhouse ATS and is compliant with OFCCP standard’s.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in business (or equivalent experience)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in biotech, healthcare, or a high-growth company
- Proven ability to fill a wide range of roles with speed and quality
- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse ATS, and CRM tools
- Familiarity in using AI and other tools to enhance and automate your workload
- Strong capability utilizing recruiting metrics and pipeline reporting
- Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Passion for hiring top talent that aligns with mission-driven work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience hiring for clinical, diagnostics, or genomics roles
- Familiarity with OFCCP compliance and diversity hiring strategies
- Experience with New York State-licensed laboratory preferred
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. The employee will work from a home office or other suitable remote location with reliable high-speed internet access. Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment using standard office equipment including computer, phone, and video conferencing tools. Your standard work schedule and hours will be established in collaboration with your leader and may be adjusted to align with evolving business needs.
Physical Demands
This is a sedentary role requiring prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer. Physical demands include:
- Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for typing and mouse operation
- Visual acuity for reading computer screens and documents
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and video calls
- Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds (office supplies, equipment)
