Invenergy follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays if work permits.

As a System Administrator, you will operate in a Microsoft Windows-based environment supporting both IT and OT systems, including control center operations. You will serve as the final point of escalation for the Service Desk, owning complex incident resolution across enterprise systems and sites.  
 
This role supports a 24x7 operational model, primarily after-hours monitoring, incident response, and participation in on-call rotation to ensure continued system availability and rapid response to critical issues. 

Core Responsibilities 

• Serve as the final escalation point for Service Desk incidents and support requests 

• Own and resolve complex IT and OT issues across control center and remote sites 

• Monitor and manage assigned tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation 

• Collaborate with server, network, security, and application teams to resolve issues 

• Participate in IT change management processes and system improvements 

• Identify trends in support issues and recommend long-term solutions 

• Maintain documentation and support knowledgebase development 

After-Hours / NOC Responsibilities 

• Support 24x7 monitoring of IT and OT systems, including control center operations 

• Respond to system alerts, outages, and critical incidents during after-hours periods 

• Initiate incident response efforts including triage, escalation, and coordination 

• Participate in two-person incident response model when severity triggers are met 

• Engage and coordinate with primary and secondary on-call resources 

• Ensure system stability and monitoring continuity during incidents 

• Perform structured handoffs between shifts to maintain operational continuity 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
• Three (3+) years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments or Service Desk operations 

• Strong experience with Microsoft environments including Microsoft 365, server and workstation operating systems.

• Experience with incident management, escalation, and troubleshooting complex issues 

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills 

• Excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to networking, systems infrastructure, and OT environments preferred 

• Experience working in a 24x7 operational or shift-based environment 
• Technical certifications preferred (Microsoft, CompTIA, or related) 

$88,000.00 - $108,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
