💼  The Support team works on a rotational shift basis, which covers 7 days a week. Shifts may vary however, the Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm shift requires the support associate to be onsite at our Domain Tower office in Austin.

The Role

You don't need to have worked in tech support before. If you're finishing college, recently graduated or looking for an entry-level role, we'd like to hear from you. We can teach you the product and tools. Bring curiosity, willingness to learn and a way of explaining things that puts people at ease.

As a Customer Support Associate at Indeed Flex, you won’t just resolve daily issues for our enterprise partners and hourly temp workers (Flexers)—you’ll treat the frontline as your diagnostic lab. When you spot broken workflows or matching bottlenecks, you’ll actively solve the root cause using modern AI agents and automation tools.

If you are an analytical, high-initiative early in your career looking to break into tech, this is an intentional launchpad. You’ll build hard, marketable foundations in tech-enabled operations, workforce analytics, and workflow design—skills that directly pave the path toward roles in Product Operations or wherever your ambition takes you across the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Own end-to-end resolution of complex, high-priority, and edge-case support cases for clients and Flexers across email, phone, and chat.
• Act as a power user of Salesforce, ACP, and other internal marketplace tools; provide actionable feedback on
• Diagnose broken processes and introduce concrete fixes rather than only escalating or flagging issues.
• Interpret operational reports on bookings, onboarding, compliance, and queue health; flag data issues that threaten queue integrity or case history.
• Use automation and AI agents effectively in daily workflows; identify and report technical gaps, edge cases, and failures in automated processes.
• Execute support workflows at high quality and meet or exceed CSAT, response-time, and resolution targets.
• Track and document all customer interactions with accurate records in Salesforce, ACP, and other internal systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to resolve complex cases and close tooling or process gaps.

What you'll need

• A passion for real-time problem solving: A strong interest in navigating high-volume, dynamic operational challenges and a desire to be the go-to person who de-escalates tense situations.
• An analytical mindset: A genuine desire to build your data toolkit, with an appetite for digging into reports, questioning anomalies, and using metrics to prioritize your day.
• You're curious about AI and willing to learn how to use it well. Previous AI experience isn't required.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose process failures and introduce practical fixes, not only escalate.
• Ability to cover flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• A commitment to driving the Indeed Flex mission: to help people get jobs, instantly.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• Experience with collaboration and operations tools such as Salesforce, Slack, Google Meet, Zoom, and Salesforce.
