Job Description Summary
Position is responsible for executing and maturing our suppliers through lean applications and roadmaps to improve GE Vernova’s supply chain. Role is focused on driving change throughout the wing-to-wing supply base to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost at suppliers. Position will drive supplier process and systemic quality improvements using Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve delivery and quality. Individual will be required to work with Suppliers, Sourcing, Engineering and Operations to establish strategic and comprehensive OTD, Quality and sourcing initiatives, which are aligned to the business and meet customer expectations.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage supplier development including assisting key suppliers towards QA. Support suppliers in reaching optimum quality and industrial standards of excellence.
- Provides Supplier with technical expertise in areas such as Process Development, Capacity Planning, Inventory Requirements and Management to meet GE Vernova demand and supplier needs.
- Drives Value Stream Analysis and Kaizens with key suppliers to enable strategic goals for GE Vernova and the supply base.
- Drives process and systemic quality improvements, at assigned supplier sites, through the use of lean and quality tools and validate improvements through defined measurables to reduce defects and improve OTD.
- Works in conjunction with Project Quality, Engineering and Suppliers in problem solving - leading cross-functional teams on major issues resolution at Supplier locations.
- Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Performs analysis (Commodity, Quality Systems, NCR, CoPQ, DPPM, DMR) to determine trends along with proposed actions to drive performance improvement.
- Supports training of internal staff along with other functions on Supplier Lean Improvements, and Standard Work.
- Works to actively deploy GE Vernova’s defined Supplier Development Procedures, Processes and work instructions within the region. Supports process and procedures review along with continuous improvement actions.

- Business Thinking: - Has general knowledge of regional suppliers, industry trends and new process/technology.
- Problem Solving: - has demonstrated the ability to lead a team through the root cause and corrective action process. General understanding of the problem-solving techniques (A3 thinking).
- Relationship Management: - works collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders at his/her levels.
Required Qualifications
- (US Based candidates-only) Bachelor’s degree in Quality, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, Manufacturing engineering, operations or other equivalent disciplines from accredited University or Collage.
- 3-5 Years of relevant experience in similar fields such as Quality Management and Manufacturing Operations.
- Evidence of knowledge of the Quality Sciences -APQP, Problem solving, sampling, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, PDCA.
- Proven lean experience required: Leading Kaizen events, Lean tool set (VSM, Problem Solving, A3 Thinking, Gauge R&R, SMED, 5S, Daily Management Systems or Visual Management, Standard Work, Leader Standard Work and Pull Systems.
- Knowledge of Industry specific quality registration (ISO9001:2015)
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Speaks English as primary/secondary language
- Developing quality/process expertise within a commodity/s
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and AI Tools.
- Ability to travel up to 60%

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
