Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Supervisor/Warehouse Worker responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and logistics operations while actively supporting hands-on warehouse activities in Warner Robins, GA. This dual-role position provides day-to-day supervision of warehouse personnel, coordinates the movement of materials, maintains accurate inventory and asset records, and ensures receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and delivery activities are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

The position supports the handling and accountability of aircraft parts and government property and requires adherence to applicable Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), installation, and company procedures.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assigned activities.
• Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor the performance of warehouse personnel.
• Train and mentor new employees on warehouse procedures, safety requirements, equipment operation, and applicable processes.
• Enforce company policies, warehouse procedures, and applicable health and safety requirements.
• Perform hands-on warehouse duties and provide operational support as required.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with suppliers, customers, transportation providers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, delivery records, inventory reports, and other required logistics documentation.
• Safely move aircraft parts and other materials using appropriate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks.
• Perform asset tagging and identification in accordance with applicable Air Force and DLA requirements.
• Support the transfer of government assets to DLA by ensuring items are properly documented, packaged, labeled, and staged.
• Maintain accurate logistics data, records, and process documentation throughout the asset movement lifecycle.
• Enter, update, and validate material transactions in applicable government logistics and inventory systems, including IUID and transfer documentation systems.
• Verify stock numbers, serial numbers, condition codes, quantities, and storage locations.
• Conduct or support physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure aircraft parts, sensitive equipment, and government property are handled, stored, and transferred in accordance with applicable safety, security, and handling requirements.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and properly organized warehouse, storage, and staging areas in accordance with installation and safety standards.
• Perform other related warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Clearance:
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening for installation access

• Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in warehousing, logistics, supply operations, inventory management, or material handling in a military or civilian environment
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment preferred; applicable certification may be required upon hire

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, material-handling practices, inventory management, and supply-chain processes
  • Familiarity with aircraft parts, components, and aerospace logistics environments preferred
  • Ability to accurately record, maintain, verify, and reconcile logistics and asset information
  • Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate material-handling equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed technical instructions, procedures, checklists, and established workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability when handling government property and sensitive equipment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and coordinate personnel and resources effectively
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a logistics and warehouse team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, customers, suppliers, carriers, and government personnel

• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with warehouse and material-handling operations
  • Frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds; heavier items may occasionally be handled with appropriate assistance or material-handling equipment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, carrying, and other physical warehouse activities
  • Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment as required.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, hangar, aircraft maintenance, and industrial environments

• Work Environment:
  • Work is primarily performed in warehouse, hangar, aircraft maintenance, storage, and industrial environments
  • Work may involve exposure to moving equipment, machinery, elevated noise levels, varying temperatures, and other conditions commonly associated with warehouse and industrial operations
  • Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety, security, equipment, and material-handling procedures

• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience supporting U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) logistics or supply operations
  • Experience with asset tagging, inventory accountability, government property management, or asset transfer activities
  • Experience handling aircraft parts, aerospace components, or other government-controlled equipment
  • Familiarity with automated logistics, inventory, asset management, or government supply systems
  • Experience working in warehouse, aircraft maintenance, hangar, or industrial environments
