Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a production facility
Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yield standards while ensuring the safest work environment possible. The role requires a strong understanding and control of the production process, accurate recordkeeping, and overall line maintenance and staffing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment
- Ensuring all positions are staffed prior to production start-up
- Overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics
- Monitoring machinery performance to ensure operational efficiency
- Verifying all workstations have passed USDA inspection
- Promoting workplace safety daily and through monthly safety meetings
- Ensuring accurate shipments, proper inventory rotation, and correct product coding
- Communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members
- Supporting Team Member engagement, training, retention, and counseling
- Collaborating with other supervisors to resolve operational issues
- Maintaining records of reworked or returned products
- Reinforcing continuous quality education and standards
- Performing additional duties as needed
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma required
- Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred
Computer Skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
Communication Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising a team performing related production tasks and activities
Travel
- 1–5 trips per year
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
