THE WESTGOLD OFFER

• Full-time, permanent position based at our Fortnum Processing Plant.
• Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 15% STI bonus + Superannuation.
• 7 nights on, 7 days on, 14 days off roster, fly in and out on company time
• Camp with ensuite rooms, sports courts and an equipped gym

THE ROLE

• Establish shift strategies to ensure there is minimal disruption to the gold process
• Monitor all plant operating processes including water usage, process dam levels and return water usage.
• Liaise closely with the gold room personnel in managing the gravity, elution, and gold room activities and provide additional resources as required
• Operate process control systems using IGNITION
• Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair
• Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant
• Play a key role as part of the leadership team in the implementation of a positive, safe, and productive culture in the workplace
• Provide mentoring and leadership to your team
• Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example
• Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within a gold processing plant
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
• Experience in Sag/Ball Mill Operations
• Experience with SCADA systems and proprietary PLC systems
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
• Strong working knowledge of ore processing with a high degree of practical understanding of processing functions (operational and mechanical)
• Sound understanding of WHS and WA mining acts and SRMS
• Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry & Gas Test Atmospheres certification
• First Aid Certification (including CPR)
• Proficient Microsoft office skills
