Our Wilkes-Barre, PA office is seeking a driven Engineer Intern to join our growing environmental team.
- Conduct field sampling (soil, water, air) and site inspections
- Assist with engineering calculations, designs, and conceptual models
- Support construction materials testing and specification interpretation
- Perform preliminary human health and ecological risk modeling
- Research, collect, and enter environmental data
- Prepare technical reports and visual aids
- Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and scientists on project tasks
- Travel occasionally for field assignments
- Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences
- Relevant coursework in environmental principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and lift equipment
- Valid driver’s license required
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training (a plus)
- Experience with environmental modeling or risk assessment tools
Salary Range:
20.00 - 23.00
