FOX Television Stations (FTS) owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations, including stations in 14 of the top 15 markets and duopolies in 11. Eighteen are FOX Network affiliates, and together the stations produce approximately 1,300 hours of local news every week. FOX LOCAL, the company's free ad-supported digital and streaming product, extends that news, weather and local content across connected TV & mobile devices. JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you understand how audiences consume news today — on their phones, through streaming apps, social feeds, and connected TVs? Are you driven to create storytelling that meets viewers wherever they are? If you’re ready to help reinvent how local news connects with a digital-first audience, FOX 35 Orlando wants to hear from you.

As Executive Producer, Streaming, you’ll lead the expansion of streaming content across PM and weekend hours, providing dedicated leadership for these growing dayparts. You’ll collaborate with anchors, reporters, producers, and digital journalists to develop focused, live programming built for the way people watch now — live, on demand, and on every screen. This includes developing live debate formats, newsmaker interviews, interactive viewer segments, and other original programming during hours when live event feeds may not be readily available.

This is an off-camera leadership position focused on programming, production, and strategy rather than hosting. You’ll serve as a key owner of the station’s CTV experience, ensuring FOX LOCAL programming, content shelves, live coverage, and sponsorship opportunities are updated, strategically positioned, and aligned with what audiences want to watch. Your leadership will help FOX 35 expand its streaming presence across multiple dayparts while creating a consistent, engaging experience for viewers across Central Florida.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Lead Daypart Expansion: Oversee and develop streaming content specifically for PM and weekend hours, building a clear programming strategy for these dayparts.

●      Develop Original Live Programming: Create focused programming such as live debates, newsmaker interviews, interactive viewer segments, and other formats designed specifically for streaming audiences.

●      Own the CTV Experience: Oversee the station’s CTV presence, ensuring FOX LOCAL programming, content shelves, and live offerings are current, relevant, and positioned around viewer interests.

●      Champion Innovation: Drive the evolution of local news for streaming, FAST channels, CTV, and social platforms.

●      Collaborate Across the Newsroom: Partner with teams across the newsroom to produce live coverage, original features, breaking news, and special programming tailored for streaming and digital audiences.

●      Shape the Strategy: Develop a forward-thinking content approach that blends live, on-demand, and social-first storytelling across multiple dayparts.

●      Drive Audience Interaction: Develop programming that encourages real-time viewer participation and creates opportunities for audiences to actively engage with live content.

●      Enhance Viewer Experience: Experiment with new formats and technologies to deliver visually engaging, high-impact news experiences.

●      Use Data to Drive Decisions: Analyze performance metrics and audience behavior to inform programming, placement, and content decisions and grow engagement.

●      Support Revenue Opportunities: Collaborate with appropriate teams to identify and support sponsorship opportunities within streaming programming while maintaining editorial standards.

●      Elevate the Brand: Ensure content reflects high editorial and production standards across digital and streaming platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

●      A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

●      Proven experience producing or leading content for streaming, digital, or social platforms.

●      Leadership experience developing programming, managing content strategy, or overseeing newsroom production.

●      Strong editorial judgment and the ability to make fast, accurate decisions in a live news environment.

●      A deep understanding of how audiences engage with news across platforms — from connected TVs to mobile and social.

●      Experience with live-streaming technology and a willingness to learn, teach, and innovate.

●      The ability to develop original programming concepts and turn them into repeatable live formats.

●      The ability to inspire collaboration, influence change, and lead teams toward a shared vision.

●      A creative mindset, an experimental spirit, and a passion for elevating local news storytelling.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

●      Prior experience as an Executive Producer, including management experience.

●      Local News Expertise: Experience working in a fast-paced local newsroom and a strong understanding of how to identify, prioritize, and tell stories that matter to the community.

●      Streaming Programming Expertise: Experience developing live, scheduled, or recurring streaming programming beyond traditional simulcasts and breaking-news feeds.

●      CTV & FOX LOCAL Experience: Understanding of CTV and streaming programming, including content organization, programming shelves, live content placement, and the overall viewer experience.

●      Digital Platform Fluency: Proficiency with digital content management systems (CMS) and live-streaming technology, with the ability to publish and optimize content across multiple platforms.

●      Data-Driven Decision Making: Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics or similar tools to analyze viewer behavior, interpret trends, and inform programming and engagement strategies.

●      Strong Editorial Judgment: The ability to make fast, informed decisions in a breaking news environment while maintaining accuracy and credibility.

●      Visual Storytelling Skills: A strong eye for dynamic visuals and creative presentation, with an understanding of how to produce compelling content for connected TV, mobile, and social platforms.

●      Audience Engagement Mindset: Understanding of audience behavior and how to develop interactive programming that encourages participation and builds viewer loyalty.

●      Collaboration & Influence: Proven ability to lead through influence — working across departments, guiding journalists toward innovation, and fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation.

●      Adaptability & Curiosity: A passion for learning new technologies, testing new formats, and evolving alongside audience habits in an ever-changing media landscape.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $99,000.00-111,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
