A day in the life…
The Strategy Manager is the mastermind behind turning big ideas into big results. They craft winning responses to client briefs, pitch exciting opportunities to new and existing clients, and help drive revenue growth. By combining deep knowledge of Seven’s content, platforms and products with sharp insights and creativity, they create standout solutions that connect brands with audiences in meaningful ways.
You’re responsible for the creative development of a platform or idea. Leading and delivering holistic, converged responses for client’s we collaborate with specialist teams across the business including; all 7Red teams, Partnerships, Morning TV, Campaign Management, 7Production, Publicity, Red Engine Creative, Marketing, Audience Intelligence and Programming.
Based in Sydney, reporting directly to the National Head of strategy & Partnerships.
What you'll do:
- Drive revenue growth across Seven’s premium content pillars, including News, Sport and Entertainment.
- Develop and pitch strategic, insight-led solutions that help clients achieve their objectives and maximise the value of Seven’s TV and digital video offerings.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, agency planners and strategy teams to uncover opportunities and grow partnerships.
- Collaborate across sales, content and integration teams to create innovative brand partnership opportunities and deliver against revenue targets.
- Leverage audience insights, research and industry expertise to influence media planning decisions and position Seven as a leading advertising partner.
What will you need
You’re a professional, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll also bring:
- Extensive partnerships and strategy experience with 8+ years in strategic partnerships, communications planning, or a similar role.
- Strong media industry expertise across News, Sport and Entertainment, with a deep understanding of both broadcast and digital channels.
- Proven ability to develop insight-led client solutions, translating briefs into compelling strategic responses and partnership opportunities.
- Commercial acumen and revenue focus, with a track record of driving growth and achieving business targets.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with agency planning teams and influencing clients through strategic thinking and collaboration.
