Job Summary: The Manager of Strategic Reporting is responsible for the end-to-end design, synthesis, and delivery of executive communications supporting the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. This role transforms complex operational, financial, and market data from across the enterprise into clear, actionable strategic reporting that supports executive decision-making and long-term value creation. Serving as the analytical bridge between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership, the position develops board-ready presentations, reporting packages, and executive insights that communicate business performance, strategic priorities, and emerging trends.

Job Responsibilities:

Executive & Board Reporting

• Lead the development and production of Board of Directors and Executive Leadership reporting deliverables.
• Own the monthly and quarterly executive reporting cadence, ensuring a consistent, board-ready standard of storytelling, visual presentation, and data integrity.
• Design and maintain executive reporting packages, presentations, one-page summaries, and dashboards that communicate key business performance indicators and strategic priorities.
• Develop ad hoc executive analyses and reporting to support business decisions and leadership requests.

Enterprise Data Integration & Business Partnership

• Serve as the primary integration point between Sales, Operations, Finance, and other business functions to consolidate complex information into a unified enterprise narrative.
• Partner with Sales and Operations leaders to understand operational drivers and translate business performance into meaningful financial and strategic insights.
• Gather, validate, and synthesize cross-functional information to ensure reporting accurately reflects enterprise performance and strategic objectives.

Strategic Analysis & Executive Communication

• Translate operational, financial, and commodity market information into concise executive narratives that communicate business performance and long-term value creation.
• Interpret operational metrics, including industry-specific performance indicators, and communicate their financial and strategic implications for executive and Board-level audiences.
• Distill complex analyses into high-level executive summaries that emphasize key performance drivers, business risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Exercise sound judgment in determining the appropriate level of detail for executive communications while maintaining focus on strategic priorities.

Reporting Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Streamline enterprise reporting processes and data collection workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
• Develop and maintain reporting standards, visual presentation guidelines, and best practices for executive communications.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities to support executive decision-making.
• Maintain a high standard of quality, consistency, and professionalism across all executive reporting deliverables.

Experience:

• Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, Management Consulting, or a related analytical discipline within a large-scale organization.
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level and Board of Directors presentation materials.
• Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business intelligence tools preferred. “Experience”

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex operational, financial, and market information into concise executive-level communications.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, business performance metrics, and strategic reporting methodologies.
• Exceptional written communication and executive presentation development skills.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including executive presentation design and visual storytelling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex business information and communicate actionable insights.
• Ability to effectively partner with senior leaders across multiple business functions while managing competing priorities and strict reporting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or CFA designation preferred
