Position Overview:

Provides administrative support through the coordination of daily and long range staffing and scheduling needs. Allocates resources and manages staffing challenges accurately in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from staff, and other healthcare providers through competent job performance, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety. May also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department.

Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret staffing data, metrics, reports, and schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make staffing and payroll-related decisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Epic, and related information systems.
• Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve routine issues using established policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of patient privacy and confidentiality requirements (PHI).
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
