About the Role

The Endpoint Data Security team designs, implements, and enhances next-generation endpoint security products. Netskope Endpoint DLP extends our Cloud DLP solution to data-in-use on employees’ managed machines, protecting it from loss and theft. It seamlessly extends all the advanced capabilities of Netskope Cloud DLP to corporate endpoints, consistently identifying, monitoring, and protecting sensitive data leaving those devices (e.g., via USB).

What’s in It for You Our Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) build robust Python automation tools to execute functional, regression, security, performance, and scale testing for our services and clients. If you love writing code to test software, have a knack for finding ways to break things, understand cloud service architecture, and can automate day-to-day operations, we would love to speak with you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with a group of brilliant engineers to build service technologies that enable a holistic data security solution.

• Write high-throughput code using modern software development techniques.

• Analyze requirement specifications to research, design, and implement solutions that ensure reliability, sustainability, scalability, and observability.

• Partner with Product Management to define and understand product requirements.

• Write and execute development test routines for your specific modules.

• Partner with the QA team to help them optimize their product testing strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of SDET experience with a proven track record of delivering creative, innovative, and functional solutions in a collaborative environment.

• Advanced Python programming skills.

• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Drone, Jenkins, or similar technologies.

• Proven experience testing distributed systems.

• Strong advocacy for modern Quality Engineering methodologies.

• Deep technical knowledge of Windows and macOS systems.

• Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical engineering problems.

• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to resolving issues and making decisions.

• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent required; MS in Computer Science or equivalent strongly preferred
