- Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.
- Provide support for general-ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnel.
- Collect data from field and region personnel and perform research in order to calculate and maintain appropriate accrual balances.
- Assist in providing schedules and commentary for operational management account results and variances, and for the production of working-capital cash-flow reports.
- Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
- Prepare special financial reports, when requested by senior managers, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 experience, preferably in transportation or service industries with multiple locations.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Microsoft Office proficient with experience in Excel (eg, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Data validation).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Ability to travel up-to 10%

This role requires English proficiency. Federal, state, and local requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, require training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications be conducted in English.
