We are currently looking for an ambitious Senior Project Manager and Award Administrator to join our Endovascular Robotics business within Advanced Therapies. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, enabling better outcomes, and enabling our customers to provide better access to care.

The Senior Project Manager and Award Administrator at EVR will support an exciting new project that is focused on developing an autonomous and remote robotics system focused on stroke therapy. This project covers areas of interventional imaging, neurovascular device interfaces, robotics, and AI development.

As Senior Project Manager and Award Administrator, you will be responsible for:

The Senior Project Manager and Administrator will lead technical program execution with a primary focus on ensuring flawless alignment between Siemens Healthineers Endovascular Robotics, internal and external contributors. This role is responsible for orchestrating day-to-day technical activities across external interfaces and internal engineering teams, ensuring that system-level integration, technical requirements, and deliverables are consistently aligned, executed, and validated.

Working closely with Engineering, this role acts as the single point of coordination across contributor technical interfaces, proactively identifying risks, resolving misalignment early, and maintaining program momentum across complex, multi-disciplinary workstreams.

This role also supports the Project administration in day-to-day activities of a federal government award in partnership with the principal investigator and research lead, covering finance, contracts, legal, compliance, and time allocations.

As a Senior Project Manager and Administration – Technical Integration & Subcontributor Alignment:

Responsibilities

• Contributor & Technical Alignment
  • Accountable for end-to-end technical alignment across Siemens Healthineers Endovascular Robotics and subrecipient interfaces; owns resolution of any integration misalignment impacting program delivery.
  • Establish and enforce technical governance with contributors (reviews, design checkpoints, issue tracking)
  • Identify and support to resolve milestone and delivery gaps, inconsistencies, and integration risks early
  • Coordinate day-to-day administration of the ARPA-H award between Finance, Contracts, Legal, Compliance, and technical workstream leads.
  • Maintain an integrated calendar for monthly status reports to ARPA-H, technical status reports, program plans, milestone reports, financial workbooks, invoices, and other contractual deliverables.
  • Track milestone acceptance criteria, payment dependencies, cost share, expenditure forecasts, invoicing status, and corrective actions in collaboration with Finance and Contracts
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready award records, including approvals, correspondence, deliverables, financial documentation, personnel records, and decision history.
  • Coordinate subaward and supplier administration, including deliverable schedules, milestone evidence, invoices, flow-down requirements, compliance documentation, and issue escalation.
  • Support award modifications, rebudgeting, scope changes, key-personnel updates, equipment requests, and other contracting actions through documented change-control processes.
  • Coordinate publication and external-communication reviews within required lead times and ensure appropriate protection and labeling of proprietary or confidential information.
  • Serve as an operational liaison for administrative and financial interactions with ARPA-H and ensure requests, decisions, action items, and commitments are documented and closed on schedule.
• Program Execution & Coordination
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day program execution across internal engineering teams and external suppliers, ensuring alignment to schedule and deliverables.
  • Translate program objectives into clear technical deliverables and milestones across suppliers
  • Maintain integrated program plans that reflect both EVR and subrecipient dependencies
  • Own the technical decision tracker and ensure all decisions are documented, communicated, and implemented across organizations. Risk & Issue Management
  • Proactively identify and escalate technical and integration risks
  • Drive cross-company issue resolution, ensuring rapid decision-making and no loss of momentum
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to avoid downstream delays in system integration
  • Advanced proficiency with project-planning, financial-tracking, reporting, document-management, and collaboration tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, deadline management, written communication, and stakeholder coordination across technical and administrative functions.
• Communication & Leadership
  • Support the primary interface Research Lead EVR with interfacing with the subrecipient technical leadership
  • Provide clear, structured updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Facilitate decision-making across organizations, ensuring alignment and accountability
  • Strategic Governance and Leadership of technical program milestones to accelerate schedules and proactively mitigate technical risks for the ARPA project.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Physics, or related technical field
• 8–12+ years of experience in technical program/project management, preferably in medical devices or complex systems
• Proven experience working with external suppliers or partners in a technical environment
• Strong understanding of system integration, hardware/software interfaces, and engineering development cycles
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional and multi-company technical programs
• Strong technical acumen with ability to engage deeply with engineering teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across organizational boundaries
• Structured problem-solving and risk management mindset
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced development environments

The base pay range for this position is:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
