Job Overview
This is a senior leader accountable for the strategy, delivery, and operation of technology capabilities supporting the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain and R&D functions, with a significant base of capability delivered from the Bangalore Global Capability Center. This role leads managers and senior managers across multiple technology teams and is accountable for organizational design, talent strategy, performance management, and leadership development. The Sr. Director sets the multi-year technology roadmap for the teams in the GCC that support planning, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and R&D systems; owns the associated portfolio and budget; and serves as the senior point of coordination between the GCC and onshore business and technology leadership — ensuring the GCC augments global functions with high-quality capacity, clear governance, and measurable delivery outcomes. The role partners at the executive level with Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Technology leadership to align investment with business strategy and to deliver technology capability through a complex separation and standalone stand-up.

- Sets and communicates the multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for Supply Chain and R&D, ensuring alignment with enterprise business objectives and the standalone operating model.

- Directs delivery across core platforms spanning ERP (SAP), planning, manufacturing execution, warehouse and logistics, PLM, and R&D and quality systems, supported by disciplined intake, prioritization, and decision-gate governance.
- Ensures business and technology expectations are consistently met, holding global and GCC teams accountable to agreed SLAs, KPIs, service commitments, and quality standards, and driving corrective action where performance falls short.
- Leads technology workstreams supporting separation and standalone stand-up, including system carve-out, TSA exit planning, data migration, and cutover readiness.
- Ensures all technology delivery meets GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, computer system validation, and data integrity (ALCOA+) requirements, and champions cybersecurity and technology risk standards across the landscape.
- Identifies, pilots, and scales innovative technologies - including automation, low-code/no-code platforms, advanced analytics, and AI across supply chain and R&D capabilities and processes
- Manages executive stakeholder relationships across Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Technology leadership, and serves as escalation point for critical delivery, operational, and compliance issues.
