Summary:
The Source-to-Contract Manager, will oversee and actively contribute to the delivery of strategic sourcing and contracting services, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across all activities. This role combines leadership with hands-on execution, managing a team across Source-to-Contract activities.
You will manage day-to-day team operations, monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality. A key responsibility is ensuring sourcing events and contracting activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with category strategies and governance standards. You will also drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes, optimising tools and templates, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and coach a team of sourcing and contracting specialists; set priorities, manage capacity, and foster a high-performance culture
- Oversee execution of sourcing events (RFx, auctions) and contract administration activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support supplier onboarding, training, and engagement throughout sourcing and contracting processes
- Partner with global Indirect Procurement teams and stakeholders to align sourcing execution with category strategies
- Build strong supplier relationships to drive innovation, sustainability and performance improvement
- Identify and implement improvements to sourcing and contracting processes, tools, and templates
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements across all activities
- Drive initiatives that enhance sourcing capability and deliver long-term benefits
- Support risk mitigation activities related to sourcing and contracting operations
- Coach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Experiences and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract management within a global, complex organisation
- Hands-on experience with RFx execution, bid analysis and contract administration
- Experience working in aerospace or defence sector, in both Indirect and Direct Procurement
- Understanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence
- Familiarity with digital procurement tools and process automation
- A working knowledge of Coupa and/or Ivalua would be beneficial
- Experience leading transformation projects and driving process improvements
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrix organisation
- Proven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives
- Proven experience in people management and talent development
