Supervisor as soldering process engineers to assist Engineering manager for the routine engineer management, also help soldering engineers to develop robust process control system and enhance their problem-solving skills.

Project management for continuous improvement activities/task force including productivity, quality/yield, and cost down projects in soldering station.

Provide engineering technology supporting to customer complaints/ non-confirm lots, even for outsourcing devices/process.

About the Job

• Establish robust process and control system in line to monitor yield/quality. 30%
• Project management to improve production line yield/quality/cost/delivery through material/process/equipment optimization, even package design optimization. 25%
• Provide engineering supporting to plant strategy projects/ NPD/customer complaints/outsourcing projects/lean kaizen activities. 20%
• Routine problem shooting in process including abnormal lots disposition to ensure on time delivery with high quality. 15%
• Take part in operation continue improvement activities for productivity promotion/cost down etc. 10%
• Other duties as assigned.

About You

• Major in electronic or physics/mechanical related, Bachelor or above
• Minimum 8 years of experience at related assembly process in the semiconductor company, 3 years of team leader experience preferred. (preferred to famous discrete semiconductor company like NXP, Infineon, Fairchild etc.)
• Experience in developing/supporting new package/assembly structure based on customer requirement or improve product quality. Experience of project management as project leader is preferred also.
• Familiar with ISO/TS16949 system requirement, especially for automotive quality system: AEC Q-101 and APQP/PPAP procedure would be preferred.
• Problem solving skill, like DOE, QC 7 tools, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D methodology
• Black Belt training/certificate is preferred.
• Good communication of both oral and writing in mandarin and English.
• Skilled office tooling like PPT/Excel, Minitab; AutoCAD.
• Preferred to be Green Belt certificated
