Overview 

Salesforce is seeking a QA Engineer (MTS) to design, build, and maintain the automated testing and evidence validation systems that support our Internal Audit & Evaluation (IAE) program. This role is ideal for a QA Engineer who wants to apply their craft to a highleverage problem: turning internal audit evidence collection from a manual, error prone, screenshot chasing exercise into an engineered system of automated control tests, continuous evidence validation, and reproducible audit trails.

You will help build the test frameworks, validation pipelines, and quality gates that verify our systems are producing accurate, complete, and auditready evidence that meets IAE requirements. You will test and validate that automated controls behave as specified, that collected evidence maps correctly to control requirements, and that compliance data is trustworthy end to end.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated control test suites: Create test frameworks (Apex tests, integration tests, end-to-end validation) that verify controls and their evidence outputs behave correctly across the compliance tooling portfolio.
• Automate evidence validation: Build validation pipelines that continuously check compliance evidence for completeness, freshness, accuracy, and correct mapping to control requirements as it flows through the collection process.
• Translate compliance requirements into test specifications: Turn compliance and Salesforce Security Standards (SFSS) requirements into machine executable test cases, evidence acceptance criteria, and pass/fail assertions.
• Build evidence integrity and regression testing: Detect compliance drift, broken evidence lineage, stale artifacts, and control regressions before they reach an auditor.
• Test platform integrations: Validate data flowing from enterprise systems (SIEM, cloud providers, HRIS, ticketing, GUS) into the GRC data model via Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, and Named Credentials confirming evidence arrives complete and untampered.
• Develop quality dashboards and reporting: Build Lightning experiences and CRM Analytics dashboards that surface test coverage, evidence health, validation failures, and remediation status in real time.
• Establish CI/CD quality gates: Integrate automated compliance tests into SFDX/CI pipelines so evidence quality is verified on every change.
• Partner with IAE: Validate test logic, evidence requirements, and control coverage against IAE expectations and SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and other standards; help auditors trust the evidence the system produces.
• Partner with engineering: Identify gaps in current validation pipelines and provide support for the development of new pipelines where they are not yet available, ensuring comprehensive evidence collection.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA / test engineering, including automated testing on the Salesforce Platform: Apex unit and integration tests, SOQL/SOSL, and validation of Flows, Platform Events, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Bulk/Streaming)
• Strong test automation skills: proficiency building maintainable automated test suites; working proficiency in SQL and Python for data validation, test tooling, and evidence pipeline verification
• Evidence and data validation: experience validating data integrity, completeness, and correctness across ETL/integration pipelines and canonical data models
• Ability to write efficient, reliable tests and validation logic that run within platform limits and at scale
• Requirements translation: demonstrated ability to translate complex compliance requirements into precise, testable specifications and automated assertions
• Compliance familiarity: understanding of control testing, evidence collection, and audit requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.), including compliance frameworks and requirements, or strong appetite to learn
• Ownership mindset: end-to-end responsibility for quality outcomes; proactively find defects, gaps, and evidence risks before they escalate to audit findings
• Quality rigor and collaboration: strong engineering fundamentals, attention to edge cases, open information sharing, and constructive technical debate

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I, Administrator, or relevant QA/architect certifications
• Test automation frameworks: Selenium, Provar, UTAM, Jest, or similar for Salesforce/LWC testing
• CRM Analytics / Tableau for quality and coverage reporting
• DevOps / CI on Salesforce: SFDX, source driven development, CI/CD pipelines (Copado, GitHub Actions), automated test gating
• Compliance as Code / policy as code testing (OPA, Checkov) and evidence as code validation
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Hyperforce) and their compliance/security evidence sources
• Python for test automation, data validation scripts, and evidence pipeline verification
• Experience with Agentforce, Einstein, or LLM frameworks  particularly for validating AIgenerated evidence, control assessments, or audit narratives
