Job Description
Fortanix is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Data Security Manager (DSM) team based in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a critical role coding and designing, building, and maintaining our DSM platform. You will work closely with global functional teams to enhance and optimize the performance and scalability of our data security solutions..

Requirements
What you’ll do (Duties and Responsibilities):
- Work with a global engineering team to build core components of DSM.
- Build and run backend and REST APIs for our Data Security platform.
- Build and automate end-to-end SDLC with a focus on quality and performance.
- Drive high code quality through reviews and a strong focus on stability, scalability and security
- Turn product requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
What you’ll need (Basic Qualifications)
- Has 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- A Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Has strong backend experience with distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Has worked with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Is familiar with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Communicates clearly and solves problems effectively
