Job Title –Software Engineer Database Developer

Database developer with exposure to Financial Services domain.

To be a part of high performing team to deliver efficient and innovative technology solutions for Fidelity Capital Markets business. The role involves working closely with business and technology partners and delivering solutions having direct revenue impact and helping operations team achieve efficiency and operational excellence.

Technical / Behavioral

You should have

• Strong analytical and programming skills
• 4+ years of hands-on Oracle SQL, PL/SQL Programming experience
• Hands-on experience on Oracle performance tuning
• Hands-on experience on Unix/Linux
• Very good understanding of RDBMS concepts
• Exposure to performance tuning of procedures/queries and indexes
• Should be able to write queries consisting joins, unions and development of stored procedure, packages and functions.
• Should be good in Design and Analysis as the role requires to work on multiple big initiative
• Knowledge of any cloud database like Snowflake or working knowledge on any other database would be added advantage
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Should be able to contribute to Oracle development standards across BU

The Skills that are good to Have for this role

• Knowledge of Capital Markets and Prime Brokerage domains

Our team provides technology services in development, maintenance, quality assurance and production support of mission critical brokerage applications. The FIT platform, we support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The FBT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• 3 – 4  years of experience in Database Skills with scripting knowledge
• Engineering Graduate/CS graduate/MCA equivalent

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
