About the opportunity:

• This position is based at Mercy Hospital for Women, and encompasses a caseload across inpatient, outpatients and the Emergency Department
• This position is for a 4 day per week Social Work role at Grade 2, with year to be determined
• This position will form part of an integral multi-disciplinary team and will be required to provide highly responsive and flexible services to consumers while upholding a high level of professionalism and practising within core values of Mercy Health
• The team sits within the Social Work Department which encourages continued learning, the fostering of supportive collegiate relationships and promotes staff wellbeing, within a dynamic, fast-paced setting

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrated time-management and organisational skills, strongly developed multidisciplinary teamwork capabilities and ability to supervise Grade 1 Social Workers and students
• Adaptive, creative, with a commitment for patient focsued care
• Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, as is experience working in women's and children's services

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
