KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use internal site administration tools to schedule and manage media placements across Rakuten's website and app.
• Coordinate with merchant partners and internal stakeholders to obtain placement assets, including creative images, destination links, promotional copy, and other launch requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with merchant partners and internal teams to ensure placement assets are accurate, complete, and received on time.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) on placements across various surfaces to verify creative, links, targeting, scheduling, and overall user experience prior to launch.
• Assist the Digital Strategy team with recurring operational tasks, merchant communications, and special projects as assigned.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Creative, and other internal teams, as well as external merchant partners, to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, particularly during Q4, Rakuten's highest-volume season, when timely execution of holiday campaigns is critical.

• Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal scheduling tools, content management systems, and various affiliate networks.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a high volume of email correspondence and internal communication across multiple platforms.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to provide coverage and support to teammates.
• Proactive problem solver who is comfortable identifying opportunities for process improvements and sharing ideas that enhance team efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft 365

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.
